The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Post Security (ICP) informed the authorised typing offices of its decision to decrease the overstaying fine for visitors and tourists to Dhs50 per day instead of Dhs100.

The ICP also announced that within the new amendments to the visa system, the fine for overstaying of foreign residents has been raised from Dhs25 to Dhs50 per day.
