Bahrain Airport wins accolades at a global aviation body meet

Muharraq: Mahmood Rafique, Editor: Bahrain Airport has won praised from a panel of an international body who commended the Kingdom of Bahrain’s aviation sector in general and Bahrain Airport in specific for leading the way in aviation services sector across the Middle East.

“Bahrain has made remarkable strides by recovering from the pandemic which had hit hard the global aviation sector,” according to top officials at the Airport Council International (ACI).  

Addressing a Press Conference, the top executives at the ACI told reporters that Bahrain not only recovered from the pandemic swiftly but also showed a leadership role towards zero carbon emissions initiative.

This came as Bahrain Airport Company (BAC), Airports Council International (ACI) World, and ACI Asia Pacific announced during a joint press conference coincided with the ACI World Governing Board, World Audit Committee, and World Executive Committee two-day meetings started on Friday March 03, 2023.

BAC, for the first time, hosted strategic meetings, which concluded on Saturday, aims at providing a platform for senior decision makers to explore the ways of enhancing co-operation between airports, international aviation organizations, and their strategic partners.
