Significant role for Training Institutes to keep a safe level of unemployment: Al-Jishi

The Chairman of the Bahrain Society of Training Institutes, Mr Nawaf Al-Jishi, said that the low unemployment rate in the Kingdom of Bahrain is from 7. 7% to 5. 4%, according to the recent announcement by the Council of Ministers, proves the success of national efforts related to training and employing national cadres. He emphasized the importance of greater integration between all entities of the training and employment sector to keep the unemployment rate within its safe limits.

“Training institutions are ready to help the government’s initiatives to realize ambitious goals related to the priority of the economic recovery plan dedicated to employing 20,000 Bahrainis per year through 2024 and building on the successes so far.” According to Mr Al Jishi.

Mr Al Jishi noted the efforts of the Ministry of Labour in providing what is necessary for the success of the National Employment Program. In addition to the Ministry’s ability to build fruitful partnerships with private sector establishments and motivate these establishments not only to retain their Bahraini employees but also to employ more of them.
