Nasser Fellowship Second Cohort visits Giza Pyramid Complex

CAIRO - 5 June 2021: The participants in the Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership visited on Friday the pyramids of Giza and Saqqara to learn about the ancient Pharaonic civilization. The delegation was accompanied by Hassan Ghazali, General Coordinator of the Nasser Leadership Fellowship, and a group of officials from the Ministry of Youth and Sports. This visit came on the 4th day of the Nasser Fellowship Program themed "South-South Cooperation“. This fellowship is organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports -chaired by Dr Ashraf Sobhi- in cooperation with the National Training Academy, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other national institutions, under the auspices of His Excellency President of the Arab Republic of Egypt/Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. It is scheduled to last until 15 June. The Nasser Program hosts distinguished young leaders from Asia, Africa and Latin America. Director General of Saqqara Antiquities, Dr Sabri Farag, received the participating delegations and gave them a tour in the Giza Pyramid Complex, where they listened to a detailed explanation about the history of this complex and the construction of its pyramids, and took several group photos and bought a set of souvenirs.
