Air Arabia Abu Dhabi, the first low-cost airline in Abu Dhabi, has announced the introduction of two new destinations to its operations.

Starting Friday, August 7, the airline will run flights to Kabul in Afghanistan, three times per week, and direct flights to Dhaka in Bangladesh, twice per week, out of Abu Dhabi International Airport.

Air Arabia Abu Dhabi, which first launched its service on July 14 currently operates three flights per week to both Alexandria and Sohag, in Egypt.

The UAE's fifth national airline was formed following an agreement between Etihad Airways and Air Arabia to establish the capital's first low-cost carrier, which follows Air Arabia's business model as well as complements the services of Etihad Airways. The airline plans to build its network as more countries ease travel restrictions.
