announced that Cadillac would be the lead brand for its transition to full electrification. Since Henry Leland started Cadillac in 1902, the brand has only produced one plug-in vehicle, the ELR which was to say the least a commercial failure. This time around, the fully electric Lyriq crossover appears to be much better positioned, and if GM can execute, it stands a much better chance of succeeding.
