The Airport Road is currently experiencing a “severe traffic congestion,” causing significant disruptions in what is described as “gridlock" traffic situation, per drivers’ complaints.

Continuous and severe traffic jams have been a recurring issue on the Airport Road.

 

Drivers have been complaining about almost-constant traffic crises on the roads leading to the areas surrounding the Abdoun area in the capital, Amman.

Many citizens question the effectiveness of temporary solutions implemented by traffic controllers, including road closures, lane restrictions, and traffic diversions in the vicinity of the Abdoun area. Despite being intended as measures to alleviate issues, these actions often result in severe traffic jams, disrupting the daily lives and routines of citizens.

Drivers urge the relevant authorities to consider the importance of ensuring smooth traffic flow and to avoid implementing closures or diversions that could hinder their daily lives.
