(*) Al-Rahi arrives at Beirut Port to preside over Mass in memory of fallen martyrs
NNA – Maronite Patriarch, Cardinal Bechara Boutros al-Rahi, arrived at Beirut Port to preside over the Holy Mass dedicated to the souls of the martyrs who fell in the explosion of the port on the fourth of last August.
Rahi was received by Beirut’s Archbishop Boulos Abdel-Sater, and a group of bishops and priests from various churches and scouts across Lebanon.
The families of the martyrs also came to attend the Mass service in memory of their lost loved ones, with choir students from the Lebanese Maronite Order led by Father Antoine Salameh and the Armenian Choir performing religious hymns.
