Caretaker Minister of Public Works and Transport, Ali Hamieh, held a meeting this morning in the Fire Brigade building in Karantina with the Lebanese mission, which will head to Syria today, in the presence of officers and members from the army, civil defense, the Beirut Fire Brigade, the Disaster Risk Management Unit at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers - the General Secretariat of the Supreme Defense Council, and the Lebanese Red Cross, where they were provided with the necessary directions and information, and access to all logistical equipment in preparation for their participation in carrying out search and rescue operations and a comprehensive field survey at the earthquake site.
