MEA Call Center Is Currently Out Of Service

The Middle East Airlines (MEA) call center has been suspended due to disruptions in the Ogero network, MEA announced on Tuesday.

“A malfunction occurred in the Ogero network, which led to the current unavailability of the communication service through the MEA Call Center,” MEA said in a statement.

“The technical teams are working to address this malfunction, and the service will be restored as soon as possible.”

The Ogero network has been facing sporadic blackouts affecting various areas over the past couple of weeks, partly due to the shortage of diesel fuel and the daily power cuts taking place in Lebanon.

One such blackout deprived several Lebanese areas of internet connectivity on Monday.

In an attempt to combat monopolies, the Lebanese Army and the Internal Security Forces recently began to crack down on black-market traders and hoarders, confiscating their reserves of fuel and distributing them to locals.
