Matterz Concludes Teqdar and Teqdar 60 Minutes

Matterz, in partnership with bp Oman, has concluded two programmes Teqdar and Teqdar 60 minutes in its fifth edition, in a closing ceremony held under the patronage of HE Sayyid Dr.Munther bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Vice-Chairman of the Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-up Unit. Teqdar programme aimed at upskilling the young national workforce to increase their employability. Teqdar 60 minutes further supported this by guiding and supporting the participants toward exploring potential career paths in a safe environment and working with mentors to develop their strategic plans to achieve their goals. This year, a total of 193 participants benefitted from the programme and 30 trainees advanced to the final training stage of the programme, of which 20% are currently employed.

The programmes included various training workshops, interactive activities, on-going assessments, curriculum vitae guidance and real-time practice for job interviews with human resources specialists, simulations, and employment clinics. This provided an integrated training experience, reducing the gap between the jobseekers’ abilities and the labor market requirements.
