New training programme to boost local development in Muscat

The training programme will last for two weeks – from January 21 to 31. It targets members of the decentralised administration in Muscat governorate who hold senior supervisory positions such as governors and general managers, for intermediate positions such as deputy governors and directors, and direct supervisory roles such as department heads in various structural divisions in the governorate.

The programme aims to qualify and empower participants with skills and best practices in local administration, which will contribute positively to local development achievement in Muscat governorate and its competitiveness enhancement.

It will address various topics, most notably, defining the nature of local administration, its origin and history, and its general foundations and principles’ clarification besides local administration
