With an exceptional on-time performance rate of 92.5%, the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman set a new benchmark, achieving the highest percentage globally across all airline categories.This remarkable feat marks the airline’s continued dominance, securing the first position for the second consecutive year, maintaining an impressive on-time performance of 91.3% in 2022. Cirium’s comprehensive annual review, considered the gold standard for evaluating global airline and airport performance, meticulously analyzes data collected from over 600 direct flight sources. The evaluation determines flights that arrive within a 15-minute window of their scheduled arrival times.The significance of punctuality in air travel cannot be overstated, as on-time flights significantly contribute to smoother and less stressful passenger journeys.
