Oman Airports announces Covid-19 testing requirements for travellers

Muscat: Drive-through coronavirus PCR test facilities will be available for citizens and residents from October 1 2020, Oman Airports announced while revealing coronavirus PCR testing requirements for all travellers.Oman Airports, in partnership with Supply International and in collaboration with Chinese company BGI, is undertaking the final phases of setting up COVID-19 testing facilities at Muscat International Airport, Salalah Airport, Sohar Airport and Duqm Airport to offer passengers the possibility to undergo a PCR test and boost early detection and containment of the virus, in accordance with the health safety protocols and measures set by the competent authorities to ensure the safety and health of passengers, cabin crews, employees, and all individuals who utilise the airports.This also comes as part of the precautionary measures that Oman Airports started taking to adapt
