The cooperation aims to strengthen vital sectors of transport and logistics in the Sultanate of Oman by improving infrastructure, enhancing the efficiency of logistics services, fostering technology and innovation, developing employee capabilities, and advancing research and development.

H E Eng Khamis bin Mohammed al Shamakhi, Undersecretary for Transport in MTCIT, explained that such programmes will reinforce the principle of partnership between government and academic institutions to achieve the common goals outlined in Oman Vision 2040.
