These plans include expanding facilities and improving services to keep pace with the expected increase in passenger and freight traffic.

Hilal bin Hamad al Mujali, Director of Duqm Airport, Oman Airports, informed that the continued growth witnessed by the airport has led to an increase in the number of passengers from 12,663 arrivals and 11,706 departures in 2020 to 33,348 arrivals and 31,514 departures in 2023. “The statistics reflect the efforts made to enhance air traffic and facilitate access to the region, which helps attract investments and stimulate tourism in the wilayat of Duqm.”
