Salalah Airport receives winter season flight from Bulgaria

Muscat: Salalah Airport in Dhofar Governorate received the first flight from Bulgaria with 180 organisers and marketers from the tour companies.

The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism (MoHT), said in a statement :"Salalah Airport received the first flight from the Bulgarian market carrying 180 organisers and marketers from tour companies, with the aim of promoting and marketing the most important heritage and tourism destinations in the Sultanate of Oman in general and the Dhofar Governorate in particular. The direct weekly flights will continue until the end of the winter season."

"This trip comes within the programme of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism in coordination with tourism sector to promote the Sultanate of Oman in global markets with international companies operating charter flights, " the statement added.
