Qatar Aiways, HIA official partners of Expo 2023 Doha

Qatar Airways and Hamad International Airport (HIA) will support Expo 2023 Doha, taking place from October 2, 2023 to March 28, 2024 in Al Bidda Park, as the official airline partner and strategic partner, respectively.

The Ministry of Municipality on Thursday hosted an official signing ceremony between Expo 2023 Doha, Qatar Airways and HIA in this regard, marking a significant milestone for the parties who will work together to elevate Expo 2023 Doha's tourism potential.

In the presence of HE the Minister of Municipality Dr Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki al-Subaie and Expo 2023 Doha Commissioner General ambassador Bader al-Dafa, Qatar Airways Group CEO HE Akbar al-Baker and Expo 2023 Doha Secretary General Mohamed Ali al-Khouri signed the first agreement. The second agreement was signed by al-Khouri and HIA chief operating officer engineer Badr Mohamed al-Meer.

Qatar Airways will support Expo 2023 Doha as its official airline partner while promoting the event as a must-visit attraction for all travellers and business visitors from the region and across the world.

Al-Baker noted that Qatar Airways is pleased to join hands with Expo 2023 Doha while bringing in a boost to the tourism sector of Qatar.
