Second Qatar-African cooperation programme in human resource kicks off – The Peninsula

Doha: The second training programme of Qatar-African Cooperation Programme in the field of human resource development for civil aviation was launched yesterday.

The program aims to raise the efficiency of human resources in the African continent, and to strengthen cooperation frameworks with civil aviation authorities in their countries; To unify positions in international forums and achieve common interests to both parties, especially after the African continent has witnessed in recent years an expansion in markets and a remarkable rise in economic growth and in the level of services, which heralds a promising future for the continent rich in its natural and human resources.

The program also aims to contribute to achieving the interests of the national carrier of the State of Qatar, increasing opportunities for the development of transport rights, and expanding investment opportunities for it on the African continent.

The second programme is scheduled to run from June 26 to 30, with the participation of 25 trainees, including 19 from the African civil aviation authorities, in addition to an official from the African Civil Aviation Commission, in addition to the participation of six trainees from the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA).
