‎Establishments with 50 employees minimum ordered to announce annual training data

Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD), Ahmed Al-Rajhi, issued a decision ordering the establishments with 50 employees or more are working to disclose their annual training data via Qiwa platform.

The decision will enhance the efficiency of training programs at private establishments, to upskill employees and ensure sustainable opportunities for development and growth.

The HRSD ministry aims to provide clear indicators for training data on the national level, improve the performance and productivity of labor force to deliver the results of the National Program to Stimulate the Private Sector initiative.

By 2023-end, these establishments are required to disclose their training data and activities, including training hours and number of trainees across the categories of workers, students, graduates and jobseekers. The training period should not be less than eight units per trainee every year.

Training plans, data and reports as well as the next year’s training budget should be also reported by these establishments.

A procedural guidelines was issued by the ministry on its website for employers and establishments.
