Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Sultan, Governor of Saudi Arabia’s Northern Borders Region, kicked off the training program for Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) citizens working in the mining sector.

The program emphasizes pivotal aspects, such as safety and sustainability in mining practices, and includes field visits to mining sites and factories in the Northern Borders Region.

Prince Faisal underscored the paramount importance of such programs, highlighting their key role in fostering cooperation and achieving integration in the development of human resources.

The overarching goal is to enhance efficiency, boost productivity and investments in human capital, and achieve comprehensive and sustainable development across all spheres, in addition to exchanging expertise and successful initiatives to align with the rapid developments in the labor market, he added.
