‎SAUDIA to announce program enabling entry to the Kingdom for 4 days with airlines ticket only: Spokesman

Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAUDIA) will soon unveil the “Your Ticket is a Visa” program, which enables passengers on board its flights to enter the Kingdom for 96 hours, through which they can roam the Kingdom's regions and perform Umrah, Abdullah Al-Shahrani, the official spokesman for the airlines said.

Al-Shahrani explained in a statement to News24 that the new program will allow the visitor to link his visa to the stage of issuing the ticket. He illustrated that when the traveler is interested in buying a ticket, he will be linked to a direct question about his need for the visa, and if he answers with approval, the procedures will be completed in less than three minutes from the same site without the need to resort to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website to obtain a visa, as is the practice in some countries.

The program wishes for Saudi Arabia to become a stopping point for many Islamic communities during their travels, particularly, the city of Jeddah, to perform Umrah, and then complete their journey. However, the program is not limited to Jeddah airport only, but includes all international airports.
