The punitive measures were taken against the apps in the authority’s bid to ensure the ideal and safe consumer experience after these applications were found practicing activities without obtaining the necessary licenses.The authority emphasized that it will continue its supervisory role to ensure that all applications comply with the necessary regulations, with the aim of providing a safe and effective transportation environment that guarantees consumer rights in the Kingdom. It also stressed the importance of dealing with licensed applications to ensure obtaining a reliable and safe service.The authority urged consumers to report any observations or complaints related to passenger transportation and delivery applications, stressing that reporting can be made via the unified number 19929, or through the beneficiary care account on the X platform @tga_care. The TGA reiterated its commitment to enhance the quality of services provided and protect the rights of consumers.
