Flydubai to launch flights to Romania’s Cluj-Napoka from March

Dubai-based carrier flydubai had announced plans to launch flights to Cluj-Napoka, the second largest city in Romania, starting next month.

The airline will operate twice-weekly flights between Dubai International (DXB) and Avram Iancu International Airport Cluj (CLJ) starting from March 20, 2021.

Flight FZ 1219 will depart from DXB at 10.15am and land in CLJ at 1.55pm. The return flights FZ 1220 will leave from the Romanian city at 2.45pm and arrive in Dubai at 10pm.

Return business class fares from DXB to CLJ start from Dhs8,000 and economy class fares from Dhs1,100.

Emirates will codeshare on the route, offering travellers more connections through Dubai to 155 combined destinations served by both the airlines.

Flydubai already operates a double daily service between Dubai International and Romanian capital Bucharest.

With the start of flights to Cluj-Napoka in March, the carrier will serve the Romanian market with a total of 16 weekly flights.
