Road closures announced for Dubai New Year’s Eve

The UAE News report: Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced a list of roads around the Burj Khalifa that will be closed on New Year's Eve.

Like previous years, all roads leading to the world's tallest tower will be closed to ease the flow of traffic and give pedestrians more mobility on roads.

Road closures begin from 4pm on December 31. Residents and tourists have been advised to use alternative routes to reach their destinations.

New timings for Dubai Metro, bus, and free parking

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has revised the timings of its services from December 31, 2020, till January 2, 2021.

Dubai Metro, Tram to run non-stop

The Red Line will operate from 5am on Thursday, December 31, till 1am on January 2. The Green Line will operate from 5.30am on Thursday till 1am on January 2.

The Dubai Tram will operate from 6am on December 31 till 1am on January 2.

Buses

Dubai buses Bus will operate from January 1 as follows:

>> Main Stations (including Gold Souq Station) will operate from 05:32am to 12:59am.
