Emirates inks interline partnership agreement with Kenya Airways

Emirates, one of the two flag carriers of UAE, has inked an interline partnership agreement with Kenya Airways (KQ), that will allow customers of both airlines access to new locations.

According to the partnership, customers will benefit from more travel options and hassle-free baggage check-in at their destination.

The partnership lists 28 destinations for Emirates’ customers on the Kenya Airways network with Nairobi as the gateway to region’s such as Nampula, Bangui, Bujumbura, Kigali, Dzaoudzi, Lubumbashi, Kinshasa, Kilimanjaro, Juba, Zanzibar, among many other regional points across Africa.

Moreover, the agreement will give access to passengers traveling via Dubai to book a single-ticket itinerary from or to Mombasa, one of Kenya’s preferred vacation spots.

Similarly, Kenya Airways passengers traveling from Nairobi and Mombasa can access the Emirates’ network and seamlessly connect through Dubai to 23 destinations across West and South Asia, the Far East, the Indian Ocean and Middle East such as Singapore, Tokyo, Bangkok, Ahmedabad, Beirut, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Seoul among others.
