Etihad Airways, MBZUAI to leverage AI to enhance UAE’s aviation industry

Abu Dhabi-based Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) and Etihad Airways have inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to jointly develop initiatives and carry out research into how artificial intelligence (AI) could transform key aspects of the UAE’s aviation industry. Both organisations will set up joint training programmes and explore research opportunities, and jointly hold seminars, workshops and conferences on diverse topics exploring AI in aviation. The MoU will create training opportunities for the university’s students to advance their understanding of the aviation industry while using AI to address challenges. Additionally, the partnership will facilitate scientific research and knowledge exchange to develop solutions that enhance the sector.
