SalamAir operates first flight to Fujairah International Airport

Muscat – SalamAir celebrated the launch of its first direct flights to Fujairah International Airport in the United Arab Emirates, on Wednesday.

The flights are scheduled twice times a week, on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Captain Mohamed Ahmed, CEO of SalamAir, said that the launch of the Fujairah route is in line with the company’s objectives of expanding its services, providing more travel options, and connecting travelers from Fujairah International Airport through Muscat International Airport to a number of international destinations.

According to Captain Mohamed, SalamAir is the first company to operate direct flights to Fujairah International Airport, informing that the route serves a large segment of travelers in Fujairah, Khor Fakkan, Dibba and the nearby border areas.

He added that SalamAir currently owns 14 aircraft and will receive five new aircraft before the end of this year to cover its 39 destinations.
