Dar Al Arkan begins construction on $272.3mn W Residences in Dubai – Construction Week Online
Saudi Arabia-headquartered real estate developer Dar Al Arkan has commenced construction works including excavation, shoring, and pilling works on the $272.3mn (AED1bn) W Residences Dubai – Downtown.
The start of construction activities comes 90 days after the launch of the project in February 2022. The already sold-out development is anticipated to mark the first standalone residences in the world under the W Hotels brand.
Dar Al Arkan has inked a contract with Stromek Emirates Foundations to execute the shoring, excavation, and piling works. The developer has appointed BHNS Engineering Consultants as the Architect of Records to supervise the construction of the enabling package.
