Emirates Loto announced it has suspended its weekly draws until later this year in order to complete a system upgrade.
The raffle, which boasts a jackpot of Dh50 million, was postponed just hours before the live draw on Saturday evening.
Organisers plan to improve the customer experience and "upgrades are scheduled to be completed later this year“.
Live draws are also expected to return at that time.
Emirates Loto said customers who had purchased entries for the July 18 raffle would be refunded.
"All those that have purchased entries into this week's draw will immediately have their fees refunded,“ it said in a statement.
"Emirates Loto will continue to engage and support the community through philanthropic and CSR (corporate social responsibility) initiatives during this time.“
