‘Bold decision’: ASEZA on government’s – Roya News English

The Deputy Chairman of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) Sharhabeel Madi described the government’s decision to ease COVID-19 restrictions as a “bold decision.”

He added that the decision can contribute to the recovery of tourism, especially with the approaching end of the winter season, after which tourism is at its peak in the Golden Triangle region and the city of Aqaba.

Madi added to Roya that the easing of measures will affect Aqaba in a positive way, especially since Aqaba has a distinct tourist product through five entrances to the tourist city, namely King Hussein International Airport, Al-Durra, and Taba border crossing, in addition to the port of Aqaba and the southern Wadi Araba border crossing, which will help in facilitating the entry of large tourists.
