Brazil boosts food supplies to Arab nations hit by the impact of the Russia-Ukraine crisis – Arabian Business

Brazil has increased its food exports to members of the League of Arab States during the first quarter of 2022.

The increase in exports and sales to Arab countries comes in light of the decreased global trade of grains and fertilisers from the European bread baskets – Russia and Ukraine – which have been embroiled in a war since February 2022.

The Russia-Ukraine conflict has resulted in a sharp increase in agricultural and food prices amid efforts to boost food supplies.
