HH Sheikh Nasser AIR&D Centre ASRY complete first phase of collaboration in AI solutions

The Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Arab Shipbuilding and Repair Yard Company (ASRY) and His Highness Shaikh Nasser Artificial Intelligence Research and Development Centre, will provide various AI/ML and Data analytics that streamline company’s process in accordance with the Industry Revolution 4.0. The two organizations announced successful completion of the first Phase of the project with “Live Dashboard”, where ASRY’s Big Data collected through various sensors will now be smartly analyzed and detected to aid operations engineers’ decision making. The two parties have agreed after the success launch of their product to continue with other phases of data analysis, artificial intelligence detection and predictions in energy consumptions. Speaking during the inauguration phase, Member of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of ASRY Mazen Mohammed Matar expressed ASRY’s pride in being one of the first organizations in the region to embark towards Artificial Intelligence solution in the field of marine assets optimization, that boosts its position in the industry.
