King Abdullah II stresses importance of – Roya News English

Sunday, His Majesty King Abdullah II met with the Senate President and heads of a number of its committees, calling for stepping up Arab and international efforts to translate the ceasefire into an extended truce to push for a political solution that fulfils the legitimate rights of Palestinians.

His Majesty stressed, during his meeting at the Husseiniya Palace, that there is no alternative to the two-state solution to achieve just and comprehensive peace, pointing to his repeated warnings of the repercussions of the stalemate in the peace process.

His Majesty pointed out that Jordan utilizes all its capabilities and diplomatic relations in the service of the Palestinian cause, reaffirming that the Kingdom continues to do all that it can to protect Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem.
