Senate Majority Leader Schumer is thinking about an Endless Frontier as he encourages Congress to pass new legislation by rolling the original creation into the "U. S. Innovation and Competition Act" (USICA) - in an effort to broaden bipartisan firepower and acceptance. The legislation is targeted at USA technological competitiveness, but the door is now open for amendments, and that is a concern. Senator Schumer (D-NY) has called the bill a "once-in-a-generation investment in American science and American technology." His co-sponsor, Senator Todd Young (R-IND) said: "Right now, the Chinese Communist Party is emphasizing to the world that the United States is a divided nation. This is a rare opportunity to show the authoritarians in Beijing, and the rest of the world, that when it comes to our national security, and most importantly our China Policy, we are united."
