The CW In Fall 2022: Five New Series; Changes On Five Nights

With a complete reversal in programming strategy (and unconfirmed new ownership on the horizon), The CW will feature five new series and only one program (D. C.'s Stargirl) of a superhero nature this fall. The new series are the dramas The Winchesters (which is a prequel to Supernatural), Professionals, Walker Independence (an original story from the current Walker, Texas Ranger reboot) and Family Law; and the non-scripted Magic With the Stars. Only two nights of the week - Monday and Friday - will not feature changes on The CW. Comparably, this is the most new shows on The CW fall primetime schedule than any of the five broadcast networks.
