Shui On Land, the Hong Kong real estate developer behind Shanghai's iconic Xintiandi nightlife and shopping district, has unveiled its second new board member this month.

Ya Ting Wu joined as an independent director effective yesterday, the company said in an announcement.  Wu, 46, is the CEO of Fengmao Trade (Shanghai), a joint venture between Richemont/Yoox Net-A-Porter and Alibaba Group. She was previously an executive at Unilever, where her responsibilities included oversight of e-commerce in north Asia.

Announcement of Wu's move followed word that Shane Shahrooz Tedjarati would join Shui On's board as an independent director effective Jan. 18. A licensed pilot, the 58-year-old Tedjarati is president of global high growth regions at Honeywell International, where he is responsible for business expansion in Asia, Africa, Latin America, the Middle East and Eastern Europe. Before joining Honeywell, Tedjarati spent 20 years in information technology and management consulting fields and was the regional managing director for Deloitte Consulting (Greater China).
