YouTube has blocked President Donald Trump's personal attorney Rudy Giuliani from getting a cut of revenue on ads that run alongside his videos, the company said Tuesday, part of a crackdown after Giuliani and other Trump allies spent weeks promoting false conspiracy theories that the November election was rigged — but the former New York City mayor can still make money by hawking products for clients in his videos, the site says.

Giuliani was suspended last week from YouTube's Partner Program, which gives him a share of the revenue for any ads the company runs on his videos, YouTube told Forbes Tuesday.





This suspension will last at least 30 days, after which Giuliani can appeal it.





YouTube cited its policy prohibiting false voter fraud claims as the reason for Giuliani's suspension, but the company did not name a specific video
