$7trn could be lost to world economy due to pandemic, says OECD

The long-term economic cost of the COVID-19 pandemic may amount to $7trn (£5.3trn) - around $900 (£690) for every man woman and child on the planet - the OECD warned today.In its latest set of global forecasts, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) said that the world may never regain the economic growth lost during this period.
