Mobile canteens to provide needs for MoE schools – ARAB TIMES – KUWAIT NEWS – Arab Times Kuwait English Daily

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 20: The Ministry of Education said it has pressed into service mobile canteens in schools which operate from the school grounds and students are permitted to buy their needs from these canteens during break time, reports Al-Anba daily. This was disclosed in a bulletin issued by the Assistant Undersecretary for Public Education Osama Al-Sultan to all educational districts, the Department of Religious Education and Special Education Schools, a copy of which obtained by the daily, states ‘With reference to the meeting held on Thursday, Oct 14, 2021, between the joint committee of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health regarding organizing ‘canteen facility in the best interest of the schoolchildren to provide them an appropriate atmosphere when they are in school.

The circular says:

• Allow students to leave during an ‘opportune’ time to go to the school compound in full compliance with all health protocols and under the direct supervision of the school administration.
