Private schools will move to distance learning ahead of UAE National Day weekend – The National

Distance learning will be in place for Dubai and Abu Dhabi's private educational institutions ahead of the National Day weekend.Private schools, nurseries and universities in both emirates will move to remote learning on Friday, December 1, as well as having Monday, December 4 off.The announcements were made on Friday by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority, Dubai's private education regulator, and the Department of Education and Knowledge in Abu Dhabi.Sharjah's Private Education Authority also confirmed to The National that private schools in the emirate will be closed from Friday, December 1 to Monday, December 4.SPEA follows the regulations issued by the human resources in the Sharjah government, which announced in all news outlets that it is a holiday from Friday to Monday, schools to be resumed on Tuesday.Dubai and Abu Dhabi's schools will be closed on December 2, 3, and 4, with classes resuming on December 5.
