Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the rose 1.29% to hit a new 1-month high.

The best performers of the session on the were Maytronics (TASE:), which rose 3.41% or 211 points to trade at 6400 at the close. Meanwhile, Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:) added 3.36% or 134 points to end at 4117 and Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:) was up 3.28% or 75 points to 2361 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Energix (TASE:), which fell 2.30% or 28 points to trade at 1188 at the close. Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:) declined 2.01% or 6.9 points to end at 337.2 and Perrigo (TASE:) was down 0.36% or 50 points to 13980.
