Zonda names Jakob Lundqvist as CTO

Zonda, one of Europe’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges, is today announcing the appointment of Jakob Lundqvist as Chief Technology Officer (CTO); the company’s first senior hire since the company appointed a new CEO last month. Jakob will assume his new role from January 1, 2022.

Jakob was previously Enterprise Architect and head of development at Bitcoin Suisse AG, a Swiss financial services provider offering prime brokerage, staking, storage, lending, and other crypto-financial services. He was a key player in building the new system landscape for Bitcoin Suisse by adding vital architecture for various core systems. Jakob has enjoyed an extensive and varied career in software development, including time with several start-ups in Europe and the US and a stint as lead architect for a series of major public sector projects in Denmark. He has also founded a number of successful start-ups, including The Licensing Project, a New-York based creative licensing archive.
