Emirates Airlines represents the spirit of Dubai - crises only make us stronger. This is how Dubai’s ruler congratulated the Emirates Group for recording its most profitable year ever in sharp contrast to the company’s loss position last year.

“Emirates Airlines announced its annual financial results, achieving record profit of AED 10.9 billion and revenue of 119.8 billion dirhams. It carried 43 million passengers and had a staff of 102,000 employees. This is the most profitable year ever, following one of the worst global crises that the aviation sector has experienced in the past three years. Emirates Airlines represents the spirit of Dubai.
