MoPH answers FAQs on Ehteraz Gold Frame, green health status



A Gold Frame on Ehteraz is not required to enter public buildings, including malls, company offices and government facilities, or to go to work, but some locations may require unvaccinated individuals to submit evidence of a negative Covid-19 Rapid Antigen Test, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has said.

The green health status, though, is required to enter indoor public places, in order to prove that an individual does not currently have Covid-19 or is not under quarantine. The ministry on Monday made these observations on social media while clarifying if the Gold Frame and green health status are both needed to enter public buildings. It also provided answers to other frequently asked questions (FAQs) about the Ehteraz Gold Frame and green health status.

On whether unvaccinated, recovered individuals receive a Gold Frame on the Ehteraz app, the MoPH said: "No. These individuals will not receive a Gold Frame. However, individuals who have recovered from Covid-19 in the last nine months are eligible for the same privileges as vaccinated people under the current Covid-19 restrictions."

"To prove their recovered status, they can show the recovered date and icon on their Ehteraz application to relevant authorities," it added.

Regarding what a green health
