Sidra adds new women health, wellness services – The Peninsula

Sidra Medicine has announced several new services including the upcoming launch of two new health programmes for girls and women in the country.

The new 'Executive Women’s Health' programme will be ready in the third quarter of 2022, while Well Woman Health Center is expected to be operational by end of the year.

The new programmes and services will offer girls and women in Qatar more choices when it comes to their health and wellness, said Dr. Johnny Awwad, Chair of Women’s Services at Sidra Medicine, addressing a press conference yesterday. The announcement came on the eve of International Women’s Day, and in line with Sidra Medicine’s strategic approach for women’s services in 2022 to position new programmes.

“This year, we are taking an integrated and holistic approach to female health and wellness as we expand our services for girls and women in Qatar,” said Dr. Awwad.

“With our latest offering, we want the female population to be aware that they have more choices when it comes to healthcare especially in areas such as comprehensive health checks, menopause, fertility, gynaecology and maternity care.” The Executive Women’s Health programme offers an annual comprehensive health and wellbeing review for women aged 18 and older.
