Mohammed bin Rashid receives Emirati experts, researchers and professionals from DEWA’s Research and Development Centre

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, received a delegation from Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) led by His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of DEWA. The delegation comprised Emirati experts, researchers and professionals from DEWA's Research and Development (R&D) Centre at the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, who are actively contributing to the advancement of the clean and renewable energy sector.

The meeting, which took place at Za’abeel Palace in Dubai, was attended by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai.

Commenting on the occasion, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum highlighted the UAE's deep appreciation for the efforts of scientists, researchers and innovators across various fields. He emphasised the country's commitment to empower and support them, recognising their significant contributions to the advancement, progress and prosperity of the nation.

His Highness said that researchers and national competencies play a pivotal role in shaping the future of sustainable energy and consolidating the UAE’s leading position in this field. Their efforts also strengthen Dubai’s emergence as an inspiring
