Bahrain Dialogue Forum: East and West for Human Coexistence

Under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Highness Shaikh Mohamed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, the Special Representative of HM the King, opened the “Bahrain Dialogue Forum: East and West for Human Coexistence” at the Isa Cultural Center (ICC), with the participation of many eminent intellectual figures and representatives of religions from different countries.

The two-day forum is within Bahrain’s keenness to build bridges of dialogue between leaders of religions, sects, thought, culture and media, is organised by King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Coexistence, The Muslim Council of Elders and the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA), in cooperation with Al Azhar, the Catholic Church, and other international institutions concerned with dialogue, human coexistence and tolerance.

The program of the forum, which will be held on November 3-4, features sessions that highlight the promotion of global coexistence and human fraternity, dialogue and peaceful coexistence and present the Bahrain Declaration as a model to be emulated.

Sessions will also review the role of religious leaders and scholars in addressing the challenges of the time.
