MHUP hands over 45 housing units in South Sharqiyah

Muscat – The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning (MHUP) handed over 45 housing units in the wilayat of Jalan Bani Buhassan, South Sharqiyah, on Monday, built at a cost of over RO1.9mn.

The handing over ceremony was held under the patronage of Yahya bin Badr al Mawali, Governor of South Sharqiyah, in the presence of H E Hamad Ali Sulaiman al Nazwani, Undersecretary for Housing in the ministry, and Sheikh Sultan bin Ali al Nuaimi, Wali of Jalan Bani Buhassan.

In a statement, MHUP said the housing units are in the Al Juweira area of the wilayat and funded by the Saud Bahwan Charitable Foundation at a total cost of RO1,929,200.

The houses are of two categories – 35 units each with three rooms spread over 185sqm, and ten units each with two rooms spread over 168sqm. The total area of the project is 27,000sqm.
