Interior Minister heads to crash site to follow up on rescue operations

NNA - Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Judge Bassam Mawlawi, will be heading to the training plane's crash site off Halat coast, where he will follow up on the ongoing search and rescue operations, after which he will visit Jounieh Serail and deliver a word.

The small training aircraft belongs to the Lebanese Aviation Club and the Civil Defense team is conducting search and rescue operations, the Interior Minister said on Twitter.
